The U.S. government is posting anti-drug public services ads on YouTube in hopes of spreading the message.   While the chances of these spots going viral is slim to none.  It does show good thinking and resourcefulness on the part of the Office of National Drug Control Policy, rarely a bastion of effective and innovative ideas.

YouTube is spot on in terms of demographics and since the advertisements already existed, the cost of the program is very close zero.

There is an introduction page with an introduction and links to the videos.   As of September 27, 2006, the channel had been viewed 23,604 times has 96 subscribers, and contains 12 videos
