Last week I wrote about Peerflix, a DVD trading service on the Net. la la provides a very similar service for CD’s. For about $1.50 (including postage) per trade you can sign up, list the disks you have and those you want and start trading with others on the site. la la’s user interface is more reliable and less clunky than Peerflix. In my tests, the trading process was smoother and quicker. This may be due to the types of movies and music I am trading, or that la-la may have a bigger group of traders facilitating faster matching of traders.
Are you really listening to all those CDs in your collection? If not, trade them away for something that you are interested in listening to.
