Sci-Fi fans are amongst the best served by the current streaming TV content available on the web. Leading the charge is the SciFi Channel at SciFi Pulse, the streaming video portion of the SciFi Channel web site. They offer clips from movies and TV shows, behind the scenes videos, deleted scenes, and full episodes of Battlestar Galactica and Ghost Hunters.
The site is well-designed, easy to use, and engaging. What’s your take on the SciFi Channel and its offering?

Thousands of people are disgusted with NBC UNIVERSAL SCIFI CHANNEL.
Sci-Fi channel ( in particular an incompetent there named MARK STERN ) has cut many of everyones favorite shows. They cancelled FIREFLY, they cancelled FARSCAPE, another favorite of millions, they cancelled BABYLON 5, and they cancelled STARGATE SG-1, the FLAGSHIP Science Fiction show. One that *MADE* the scifi channel what it is today. Originally nobody even knew of the channel, it is due to STARGATE that people called their cable companies and requested it be carried. Now this bozo Mark Stern is cancelling all the good shows, ordering low-quality fish B-movies, and people are vowing to shut the channel off, cut their subscriptions to it, and are totally disgusted with Sci Fi CHANNEL.
Latest bozo idea of Mark Stern & fellow nincompoop exec Bonnie Hammer was to put FAKE PRO WRESTLING onto the Sci Fi channel. Yes, that\’s right, ECW leotard pre-choreographed floormat acrobat goons are now on the channel meant for Science Fiction shows.
Now the wrestling show on Sci Fi channel has taken a dump in ratings. And re-runs of the original Stargate SG-1 is STILL pulling in incredible nielsen ratings - even despite the show is not being produced anymore.
SCIFI.COM released a statement with the egotistical statement that Stargate Atlantis, another Highly Rated favorite of millions of fans around the world, would get a \”KICK IN THE PANTS\” by the addition of the Samantha Carter character from the Stargate SG1 program. Rather, it\’s NBC SCIFI CHANNEL and exec MARK STERN that needs the KICK IN THE PANTS, or elsewhere. Due to that mastermind, SciFi channel’s ratings have tanked and the whole channel has gone downhill. After bragging how wrestling would increase ratings and cancelling Stargate, ECW ratings have taken a dive, and are now only 1.3. ECW ratings are a failure, the decision was a failure, everyone around the world is wondering what the heck fake wrestling has to do with Science Fiction (nothing) and now millions are boycotting SciFi channel.
NOTE: Despite the fact that SCIFI channel tries to put their own logo and the words “Sci Fi channel original production” onto everything they air… STARGATE SG-1 is NOT filmed by the Sci Fi channel. It’s produced by MGM.
Scifi does not film it, they do not produce it, they do not script it, hire actors for it… nothing. They only ‘aired’ it.
MGM is the one who owns and produces STARGATE, and in fact MGM has supported the show even more now than ever. MGM has given the green light to produce TWO Stargate SG-1 movies, Continuum, and Stargate: The Ark of Truth, which will begin filming in March & April of 2007. Not only that, but there is now a 3rd Stargate series in the works! There is also the imminent release of STARGATE WORLDS, a massively multiplayer online game on the order of World of Warcraft. Fans are uniting against SciFi channel and helping to FIGHT for Stargate SG-1.
NBC Universal Scifi channel has dropped the ball. NBCUNI Sci-Fi viewership has dropped, including Scifi channels low-quality B-movies that they keep showing which usually involve some mutant fish fighting some home-computer generated overblown snake (FrankenFish! Boa! Python, Boa versus Python! Hammerhead Shark Frenzy! Snakhead Terror (Snakehead is a fish). Meanwhile STARGATE viewership has increased. Also fans have brought up Stargate fan websites, there are now Stargate role-playing sites, Stargate fan-fiction sites, Stargate game sites with mods of other games to include maps and missions from Stargate, Stargate Forums, bulletin boards, Stargate fan conventions, and massive campaigns against the SciFi channel including boycots of the channel and of all their advertisers (Not buying the products aired on the commercials on ECW wrestling and other poor quality SciFi channel shows)
SciFi channel is also ruining BattleStar Galactica, another favorite. SciFi channel has broken up the friday lineup with Stargate causing BattleStar Galactica’s ratings to drop. Then Mark Stern moved BSG to Sundays, causing BSG viewership to drop even more. He also has ruined other shows, such as cancelling FARSCAPE, another excellent production, and replaced it with low-grade fish B-movies or cop shows. Stern just put in a BUY using SciFi money for 10 more of these mutant fish alien films that nobody cares about, and the type that might be suitable for being made fun of Mystery Science Theater 3000-style. (another great show NO LONGER on SciFi channel by the way.)

But Scifi.com is NOT a site you want to patronize, with their popup Ads and banners, they are Not favorable and in fact thousands around the world are quite disgusted with NBC SciFi channel recently. People are cancelling the channel from their cable and satellite subscriptions and calling for SciFi execs Mark Stern & Bonnie Hammer to be fired. Then with new people, the channel might improve some day.
WOW . . . I’m in Miami Fl, I didn’t realize that the scifi channel was taking such a wrong turn. But then again, I don’t watch tv, I watch movies and episodes of Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis from my collection of dvd’s (originals not copies :-} ). I stopped watching TV altogether back in 2004, But I have been a Stargate fan since the first movie came out. Since I don’t watch tv and, hehe, I’m kinda outta da loop; can you tell me how I can watch current - new - episodes of Stagate Atlantis online please? Thanks.

with stupid money for uniforms and sets ,i heard it cost 16,000 for one nylon star trek uniform.tell the roddenberry crew to move it to Fla or canada.You reserected sgi from show time why cant you do it for serenity or star trek ,taps is the only realistic show
in that format you have.I like dopey brian and chiken sh steve and the rest of the people for the most part.Why did it take 4 years to do 4 seasons of BSG,with all those actors and diferrent sets you could have had for scenes rolling at the same time ,it must of been greed after the first to seasons
i guess you could not keep that many people happy,screwe the catterers and honey wagons ,tell them if they wanted more money they would have to bring their own winnbagos and crft services only.I hope you ndo something bower and black It takes a lot of work to talk to puppets on farscape and i thought their characters came off well in the last couple sgi series.Loose destination truth ,they have crappy ground support and their equip was always breakdown at the wrong or maybe right time.
