You’ve been sitting in front of your computer for too long. It is time to revisit those great outdoors. Finding good travel ideas on the web can be terribly painful sometimes. Gorp is a great site that bills itself as “your encyclopedic resource for outdoor recreation—hiking, biking, rafting, camping, fishing, and more.” They have sections on parks, destinations, activities, gear, photo galleries, and of course a section to sell you a vacation.
You do have to register, but it is free, and gives you access to content from Gorp, Outside Magazine, and Away.com.
