Internet video search site statistics from Hitwise show YouTube dominating. In addition to it’s nearly 43% market share, only Yahoo! Video search keeps visitors on it’s site longer.

I am not sure what to make of the figures. It looks like apples and oranges. The top 10 list is a mix of search engines, video sharing sites, and social networking sites. It highlights how fast things are changing in the video on the Internet space. I am not sure that YouTube has set it sights on being a search engine, and AOL, Google, and Yahoo have all recently introduced their own video sharing services.
