Everybody’s been doing it, offering their video content on the web, except for Time Warner’s premium channel HBO.  That may soon change, as the buzz in the industry is that HBO is planning to offer content on the Net.  The move to the Internet could cause a huge disruption in the cable business. Most notably, this will upset cable companies that make money selling premium channels on top of their basic service.

Business Week is reporting that the service will most likely be subscription based, but that HBO executives have yet to decide what content will be offered and what business model will be used.
