CNET’s Digital Home DYI is a great technology How-To site with step-by-step instructions on how to complete a number of common technology tasks like setting up a home network, hooking up your new HDTV, and even using your video camera for video chats.  They have divided their projects into a number of categories including: digital imaging, HDTV, music, gaming, home control, home theater, home movies, and networking.

I like this site because it focuses on common tasks that many of us face, projects that you typically do only periodically.  Even if you have created a home network once, chances are the next time you need to do it, you will welcome the help.   The site is well-designed and easy to use.   Next time you need help with your tech projects or if you just like tinkering to past the time, try Digital Home DYI.
